The 2023 NBA All-Star Game saw Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics named All-Star MVP as he scored 55 points to lead Team Giannis over Team LeBron 184-175 at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City. Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James both suffered injuries and played limited minutes. Donovan Mitchell scored 40 points and Damian Lillard hit the game-winning shot for Team Giannis, while Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, and Kyrie Irving all scored 32 points each for Team LeBron. The weekend also included the skills challenge, 3-point contest, dunk contest, NBA HBCU Classic, celebrity game, and Rising Stars Challenge.
