Amy’s world was shattered when lost her daughter, Shalynne, to the hands of our for-profit healthcare system after being denied care. The last thing she ever said to her daughter, holding her in her arms, was you will not have died in vein. Since then, Amy’s become one of the leading voices in the country fighting for Medicare For All, was a surrogate for Bernie Sanders, and helped elected Congressman Jamaal Bowman and Congresswoman Bush. Since launching in April, Amy has already been endorsed by Senator Nina Turner, Congresswoman Bush, Sunrise Las Vegas, and the Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund. If elected, she would become the first military spouse in Congress.
