Like all the powerful women that came before her Queenie Donaldson has secured her seat at the table and is making room for other women to take their seats at the table.

In this episode, I talk to Queenie about her career and her experience as a black woman in the entertainment industry.   She highlights the challenges she faced, including not feeling like she measured up in the room. We discussed the importance of mentorship and having those people in your network that will encourage, empower, uplift, and champion your name when in the room and when you're not in the room.  Queenie also shares valuable tips on how to navigate your career in the entertainment industry.

Queenie is the Founder and CEO of Queens Entertainment Group Inc, launched in 2004 and based in Los Angeles.  She has been a talented producer of many networks such as BET, TV One, VH1, Showtime, WETV, A&E, and more.
