In this episode I interview Dania, a Ayurvedic specialist and nutritional scientist with over 10 years experience and study in her field, in this episode we focus on the importance of the mind-body connection, mindful eating, and how are emotions affect the way we eat, she shares how to become more intune with your emotions, which allows for intuitive eating practices to be more accessible.

Dania runs Ayurvedic teacher training online for people based in Germany, she is just about to launch her new book called intuitive eating, she is deeply rooted in the traditional teachings of Ayurveda and studied in India and with Vasant Lad. I love the way she expresses her knowledge in such a digestible way, without diluting the essence of Ayurveda.

We also discuss how to become in tune with your body and your emotions, so you can cultivate greater awareness of any subtle signs of imbalance that your body is giving you, this where Ayurveda is such a powerful preventive medicine

This awareness allows us to take preventive measures in our self-care routines that enable us to return back to Swasta - which means to be established in ourselves.

Swasta is a core Ayurvedic principle that encourages us to be explorative of our individual needs and tune in everyday to how we feel and act accordingly.

This is an easy to listen to episode for people who would like to learn more about the benefits of preventive medicine and Ayurveda as a holistic mind-body-spirit science.
