In today’s era, multilingualism has become more than just ‘important’. Knowing a foreign language other than your native language has evolved to be extremely beneficial. Whether viewed from the financial or social aspect, being able to communicate in a foreign language helps to make ‘real’ connection with people and provides a better understanding. Many people are dreaming about leaving everything and living the “island life”! Amazing weather, beautiful lagoons, boat tours, sunsets by the beach. Because most of us are Crammed into stuffy offices or overcrowded transportation before this pandemic, the idea of escaping the rat race and starting afresh on an island is a dream for many. But its not close to impossible for sure. For this episode I have my dear friend with me who left the city life, and moved to the beautiful island of Siargao.
