Jason Carter set his sights on the Georgia governor seat because he saw an opportunity to make a difference.  Despite his good motivations, this effort resulted in a high-profile loss.  Surrounded by a strong support system, which included his grandfather Jimmy Carter, Jason learned a great deal from this experience—including the importance of growing from failure, taking risks, and remaining grounded.
