Alex Schepelmann is a robotics engineer by day and a maker always! Outside of his work at NASA Glenn Research Center, Alex creates content for "Super Make Something," a YouTube channel that aims to teach the public about robotics, electronics, 3D printing, programming, and more. With over 40,000 subscribers, Alex's video tutorials and projects show viewers that science and engineering is fun, teaching them about various STEM topics along the way! Leveraging recent advances in consumer manufacturing technologies, Alex's projects show that it's possible to create truly impressive things without needing access to a full-fledged laboratory or manufacturing center and shows his viewers that anyone can be a maker!

In this episode discuss what it is like to work at NASA Glenn Research Center and some of his work on 3D printed robots, his PhD work on creating a robotic version of the human leg and 3D printing parts for it. Later we dive into “Super Make Something” and discuss a few of the episodes.
