Dr. Mark Turman with the Denison Forum gives us insight into the hope and frustration in America. Dr. Turman is the Executive Director of the Denison Forum.

Among his many duties at Denison Forum, he is most notably the cohost of The Denison Forum Podcast with Jim Denison, Ph.D. He is also the chief author of A Pastor’s View, the biweekly church leadership email newsletter from Denison Forum. Mark recently completed his DMin from Truett Seminary. He was raised in Tyler, Texas in a large Roman Catholic family. At seventeen, he made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and later committed to vocational ministry during his freshman year in college at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas.  He completed his undergraduate program there before completing a Master of Theology degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. He married his high school sweetheart, Judi, and they have two children and one grandchild.
