Creating a HIPPY Healthy Community will be held Friday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the old Coffeeville High School. Sponsored by Clarke County HIPPY, there will be frree vision screenings for youngsters by the Lions Club, hearing screenings by Child Rehabilitation Services and developmental evaluatoins by Books, Balls, and Blocks. Child identifications will be available. Healthy snacks willl be provided. The Kathryn Tucker Windham Ghost Walk will be Oct. 15 in downtown Thomasville.
