It has been quite the season for many of our football teams. Today (Thursday), Clarke Prep School and Jackson Academy will be playing for separate state championships in the Alabama Independent School Association. Jackson Academy, 12-0, has not been beaten this year and the Eagles have steamrolled over all of their opponents. They will play Lowndes Academy, 10—2, at 1 p.m. for the Class A title. The Clarke Prep Gators, 9-3, have been a Cinderella team, improving with every game they have played. They crossed the state last Friday night to play a tough Chambers Academy.
