The Clarke Prep Lady Gators opened the season with a 1-4 record after winning the state championship last year. One of the Lady Gators losses is to Glenwood who they beat for the championship last year. The Lady Gators lost on Friday 8-1 to Macon-East Academy and then lost on Saturday to Patrician Academy 7-3 and lost to Glenwood Academy 7-0 and defeated South Choctaw Academy 1-0.
