The bond issue funding the new Grove Hill fire station wasn’t on the agenda for Monday’s council meeting but it was added and moved to the top of business so that the out-oftown bond attorneys could be on their way home. The issue, handled by the Frazer Lanier firm, is for .15 million. The average interest rate over the life of the 20 year issue is 3.985%. Monthly payments will run approximately ,500.
