Lewis King undoubtedly touched many lives as was evident by the outpouring of sympathy and comments from many after his death July 11. The 63-yearold suffered a stroke a few weeks earlier and was in a Mobile hospital and never recovered. William “Lewis” King was employed at Clarke County High School for 41 years and was an auxiliary Grove Hill police officer for at least 36 years.
