Charles Daniel Knowles of Grove Hill died January 16, 2024 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. He was born August 28, 1934 in Loango, Covington County, Ala. He was a retired paper mill machine tender at Boise Cascade in Jackson. He was a member of Horeb Baptist Church in Whatley. He is survived by his wife, Rilla Williams Knowles; daughter, Janet Wilkerson (Grady); son, Joe Knowles; grandchildren, Caleb Knowles and Coleman Wilkerson (Chesney); sister-in-law, Betty Knowles; devoted friends, Nick, Amy, Grayson, and Weston Gibson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
