A Thomasville man has been sentenced to nearly 100 years in prison after being convicted of a 2020 ambush murder. Jarquise Hayes, 21, was sentenced by Circuit Judge J. Perry Newton to 94 years in state prison for the murder of Nicholas Bettis, 21, in November 2020.
