U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (D-Birmingham) wants to hit pause on something U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) has already told Alabamians to get used to. Sewell is now co-sponsoring the AI Data Center Moratorium Act, which would halt new data center construction until Congress puts safeguards in place. The bill was originally introduced by U.S. Rep.
