After two years, two old friends got to see each other again! Florene Carlisle (right) met Windora Buxton (left) at the former Thomasville Health and Rehabilitation Center, and the two became close friends. For many years, each Wednesday, Florene and other church members from Springfield Methodist Protestant Church led a devotion and singing. In March 2020, Covid shut the services down. This week, the church was able to return for services and Florene could visit Windora at Crowne Healthcare in Thomasville. The old friends shared many happy stories, and Florene brought her usual treats. Needless to say, both shed tears...
