Open Doors estimates that there are between 50,000 and 70,000 Christians being held in horrific labour camps, simply for daring to believe in a higher authority than the rulers of North Korea – Jesus. Hea Woo is a Christian who was imprisoned in North Korea. When she arrived at the prison camp where she was held, there was a sign saying ‘Do not try to escape, you shall be killed’. And yet, even in these labour camps that are like hell on earth, God is at work. Hea Woo says, “God helped me to survive. Even more: He gave me a desire to evangelise among the other prisoners!

This Sunday, we had the honor of being joined by David & Greta Peters from New Zealand. They mainly spoke on prayer and how to pray in different circumstances. Greta also shared a prophetic word for us here as a Church.
This Sunday we heard from Reverend Celia in both our 9:30 service and also our laer, 11:30 service. She brought great wisdom and it was a pleasure to hear her messages.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a friend of Rediscover Church, James Aladiran to come and speak to us all around the topic of prayer.
We had the pleasure of welcoming Apostle Arome Osayi over from Nigeria to come and speak to us all around the topic of prayer and also healing.
Speaking from Isaiah 40, Shaun speaks on preparing the way of the Lord. He breaks it into 3 ways that we could and should live out our lives as we prepare the way for Him: 'Privately & Consistently', 'Prophetically & Uniquely' and 'Publicly & Passionately'.
One of our elders, Hannah, speaks on God in the everyday. She speaks on the importance of alone time, time with God in our day to days and how we can become more like him in that. Hannah's main piece of scripture is from Colossians 3.

This week was 'International Sunday' here at Rediscover Church. We heard from Jean-Claude, a member of our congregation and we were so blessed by what he had to share with us.
