Amerra is a Howard University graduate, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Education from the Johns Hopkins School of Education in its Urban Teachers program. As part of that program Amerra teaches 4th grade humanities at a public charter school in Washington D.C's Ward 7. Over the course of the interview Amerra shares her pedagogy, the ways in which she is constantly seeking to improve her students educational experience, and a whole lot more.
