Sometimes people with Fibromyalgia are silently struggling with their burdens because they feel misunderstood or neglected, however when someone experiences unrelenting pain, everyone who lives with them and their loved ones are likely to suffer as well. The frustration, anxiety, stress, and depression that often go with chronic pain can also afflict family members and friends who feel helpless to provide some relief. Along my journey with FM, my husband and I have both been learning how to manage our emotions when the pain level in my body is high and what to do to improve the situation. We both agreed that communication is a crucial tool to support one another during our most difficult moments. In this episode, my husband and I had un Cafecito together where we had an interesting conversation about his perspective on Fibromyalgia, what he is been doing to manage with all of my symptoms, and how all this has affected him as well. Although my journey has been long, it was a little bit over 7 years ago when my symptoms began to escalate and my health started to go downhill. which it's almost the time we've been married, therefore with his love, patience, and support, he has been an important and a big part of what I call now my new healing journey. Hope you guys find something valuable in this episode!
