A group of ten is higher than any sage or Kabbalist because it is a collection of small, goal-oriented people who do not yet understand where they are and what to do. But they are striving for one common goal and have gathered together.

Therefore, their connection is higher in spiritual construction than one great Kabbalist. This is true because they build the Creator within themselves. Their state is more promising, and therefore the Creator engages with them more.
