After 4 years of training, I now realize that we don’t train “muscle groups” (i.e. biceps, triceps, chest, back, etc.)

.

However…

.

We should train MOVEMENT PATTERNS [rather than muscle groups]

.

There are 7 common movement patterns that should be incorporated into a rehabilitation & training routine:

  • Push
  • Pull
  • Hinge
  • Squat
  • Lunge
  • Core
  • Carry

If you’re not instilling these patterns into your routine, then you’re missing out on the FULL POTENTIAL that your body can endure for the long-run
