Following Oprah’s interview with Megan and Harry, I felt prompted to discuss my experience of racism in the U.K. I also unravel the harmful narrative of being a ‘Strong Independent Black Woman’, a title that comes with unreasonably high expectations for Black Women in a world where we are persistently neglected.
