This week, we will explore the journey of Mr. Brian Kinsella. Brian is an English teacher at East Aurora High School in Aurora, Illinois. Brian earned his teaching certification at Illinois State University.

On this episode, we will round out Brian's narrative as it stands now with a conversation about what his teaching looks like during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and how he has modified his writing assessment approaches to promote risk taking and growth. He also shared how he writes and revises his own compositions with his students, engaging in authentic literacy practices alongside them.
