We often say that some of the best people are disc golfers, and Jay Gobrecht fully embodies that statement. I had the pleasure of staying at his house this past week and getting to know him more than I could have ever imagined. Jay told me he would do this interview but I had to come stay the night just so I could wake up and fully experience what its like to be in his disc golf paradise. He wasn't lying about this being paradise, and I couldn't just stay one night, I actually stayed 2. Jay has lived a lot of life, been to 16 World Championships, designed numerous courses, played on the lead card in world finals and also been skilled enough to win 2 Doubles World Championships!!
