A new report finds that the federal government's Charter Schools Program (CSP) has spent a billion dollars over the last decade on schools that have either closed down or that never opened in the first place. Those schools account for about 37% of those to receive funding from the CSP, according to analysis from the Network for Public Education.
Reporter Jason Taylor spoke with Carol Burris of the Network for Public Education about the report, "Still Asleep at the Wheel."
