In this episode I interview Jory Wernette, a fan favorite from Game for Love and one of my favorite singles too!
Jory shares his journey from swiping left at home to finally saying "yes" to love again. He talks about his experiences with The Agency & Game for Love and shares some solid advice for singles out there. Take a listen!
A little bit about Jory:
I am a Web Developer and IT guy for the nationwide baseball company Perfect Game USA. I work with the code on the backend of the company's website. When I am not at the office I could be at home with my two cats Jocko and Tobey Meowguirre, out with my friends playing various games, attempting to learn a new skill like more magic tricks or intrument, or I could be with my family, or riding motorcycles. I recently ended a relationship that was not good for me and so now I am trying to get out and make happy memories wherever I can. I have published a book. I learned magic. I became a Gladiator. I was on a Dating Game Show! I hope to continue making the most of everything I do and doing everything I can.

We discuss the challenges of divorce, grief & dating as a single mom. You'll want to take a listen!
Bio from Nicki:
Nicki’s journey is one of growth and loss, loss and growth to the point sometimes it feels like she is stuck on repeat. Life has knocked her down more than once these last few years but these challenges, these struggles, led to her finding her way to the person she is today. Nicki’s journey has opened her up to sharing her story in the hopes of helping others facing similar challenges. What are these challenges she has faced? Everything from fertility treatment, divorce, sexual assault, the loss of her mom in 2019 then her brother at the end of 2020. Her story is about how she survived each of these and is now living her life the best way she knows how, which is one day at a time. She learned it’s about understanding that grief and trauma don’t end, but that she can still make choices everyday to live her best life. She learned it’s about doing what makes her feel alive, even if other people don’t understand that. She learned it’s okay to live life on her terms and ultimately, that it is okay to be happy, even during difficult times.

Some women are convinced in order to find their true partner, they must be “whole”. They must love themselves and their lives fully in order to attract the right partner.
In this week’s episode, I address the issue of women who feel “broken” and how changing this perspective can lead you to true love.
I share about my own journey of discovering my brokenness in dating my partner and how instead of pulling away, he helped me through it.

How do you know if you are giving too much when it comes to dating?
Do you complain that you are giving so much in your dating life and not getting much in return?
As women, we are natural nurturers and givers. When we love someone, we go all in. We give as much as we can in hopes our partner will meet us in the middle.
What happens if they don’t?
We love harder - invest more of our time, energy and love in hopes they will return it to us.
When they don't, we take this as a sign that there is something wrong with us.
We find ourselves miserable. We develop animosity, anger and resentment towards our partner. We look to them for validation and support only to get “I can’t give you what you want” in return.
This is what my guest Tiffany was facing when she reached out to be coached on-air.
Listen as we discuss her patterns of over delivering in her dating life. We talk about how someone showing up to the relationship the same way we are is key to feeling appreciated. Her potential partner needs to earn the right to know all her "quirks" and receiving her love.

One of the most asked questions I get asked is, “Where do I find guys if I don’t want to online date?”
As adults, it can be difficult to meet new people and make great connections when it appears everyone is caught up in their own lives. Where do you even begin?
In this episode, I share with you my top 7 ways you can meet people in real life. I break down why each of these ways works and how they may enhance your life in the process. I share with you a personal story of what I did to create adventure in my own life to meet new people and it isn’t what you think.
The hardest part is putting yourself out there. Love isn’t going to show up at your door. It is time to get vulnerable and do something new!

Many women who marry and have children young find themselves lost when the marriage ends.
They don’t know who they are. They don't know their interests. They don't know what they are looking for in a partner. They find themselves in a pattern of jumping from one failed relationship to another. By settling in relationships it gives her a sense of normalcy. When the relationship fails, she wonders what is wrong with her and blames herself.
She will be in a relationship for the sake of being in one because at least she isn't alone.
In this week’s episode, I had an opportunity to coach Corina on-air. Corina is a single mom of 3 who got married and divorced at a very young age. We discuss the issues she has been facing when it comes to dating, finding love, settling and loving herself.
Listen as I help Corina discover new ways to seek adventure, discover new interests and how she can date herself. We come up with a game plan on how she can install self care into her weekly and monthly routine and how to not settle when it comes to relationships.

You are not alone. More and more women are exploring the idea because they are tired of the dating scene. Women are lonely and seeking connection. I am a firm believer the sexiest thing you can wear on your next date is confidence.
High-achieving single women have agendas & schedules for everything...including exercise. Instead of being in the moment for what exercise can offer you, we are constantly stuck in the cycle of outcomes. When we are not achieving the outcome we desire with exercise, we will stop all together.
When we stop, we punish ourselves. When we punish ourselves, our confidence starts to diminish. This can trickle into all parts of our lives including dating.
What is the solution to rebuilding your relationship with your body & exercise?
Today’s episode I asked my own personal trainer and business owner , Erin Stark, to discuss her own journey with fitness. During our interview, Erin talks about her divorce, how it sparked her to find love within herself, and challenged her to find her new passion. Erin gives us great tips on how to start moving our body again, what type of movements to do and the importance of building muscle for women.

Have you had someone troll you on the internet or even worse...in real life? How do you handle it?
Do you believe the fear of judgment, negativity and trolls prevent you from being vulnerable and finding true love?
This week I opened up about my own journey with trolls & vulnerability. I share my past struggles with body image & dating. In this episode, I tell the story of the date who told me the worst thing imaginable. I explain when it comes to handling negativity and trolls, it is not about what they say. It is all about how you look at the situation.

I have seen so many women jump right back into dating post break up or divorce (including me). Women say, “Oh, the relationship is already done and I’m over it. I am ready now”. But, are you?
In this episode, I talk about the temporary fix dating post divorce can provide to our egos. I explain how divorce is a loss, no matter if you wanted it or not. Break ups hurt our egos...badly. We use dating as a way to feed the ego and to get the attention it craves. Is this what we need in our lives post divorce or are we running away from the hurt?
Join me as I discuss my journey of dating post divorce and what mindset you should have as you begin to date again.

In this week’s episode, I had the honor of discussing the importance of implementing meditation into your life with Author Lisa Erickson.

Meditation can be an important tool in your tool box when it comes to being proactive in all areas of your life. Take the 5 minute challenge and start your own practice!

It’s my birthday episode! What better way than to celebrate it with all of you!
In this episode I give you a sneak peek into my How to Attract Love into Your Life Virtual Workshop. I talk about my Attraction Formula and break it down into 5 ways you can bring love into your life.
Today I discuss one way to attract love into your life is by making room. As women, we don’t realize how our actions and words can subconsciously tell others that we are not ready nor even available for love. I will teach you how you can recognize these ways and what you can do to change it.

In order to attract love, you must stop assuming and start being vulnerable.
We block love from coming into our lives because we are so busy assuming what people think and want. We do it as a form of protection in hopes we are able to avoid pain.
In this episode I talk about the importance of assuming positive intent. I discuss the key to true connection is to stop assuming and start being vulnerable. The bottom line is, to be loved, we must show love. We show love by allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and to allow others in.
Allow yourself to be vulnerable on your next date and see what happens.

Have you ever gone on a first date with someone where everything clicked only to be stood up next time around?
Maybe they left you wondering…what happened? Did I say or text something wrong?
The moment you stop thinking about them, they come out of nowhere. They start asking for forgiveness and request you to give it a second chance.
In this episode, I go into detail about how to recognize these patterns and what to do about it. I talk about how important it is to show up to the first 3 dates. It's these first moments that set the tone to your entire relationship.
Remember, you deserve to be someone’s plan A, not someone’s plan B.

In this episode I share the importance of taking yourself out on a date...alone.
I share my journey of dating me. I explain how the baby step of taking myself out to breakfast changed my perspective on dating altogether.
I talk about how the best thing you can do for yourself is to stop waiting and start living. It is up to us to create the life we deserve and want and not wait for someone to do it for us. An excellent way of practicing this is by taking ourselves out on a date.
Taking ourselves out sends a message to the universe. You are telling yourself you are worthy of experiences and deserving of love. Instead of being reactive, you are being proactive. You are living the moment and celebrating the most important person in the room. You.
