Born and raised in Memphis - Tennessee, Meridith Miller Rucker @meridithrucker is a true 3rd generation Memphian. 

Having had the career of her dreams as a magazine journalist with the likes of CosmoGirl, Glamour (as a freelancer) and teen magazine Pixie to mention a few, her life made a dramatic turn when the recession hit and many journalists, including her, were laid off. That was just the beginning for Meridith, though.
