EXCUSES. Benjamin Franklin once said, “He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.” There are major life commitments we cannot afford to make excuses for in order to escape from. The primary area excuses negatively impact us is our in spiritual lives. What God expects of us is usually excused away at the expense of unsatisfactory outcomes. Gladly accepting and following what God wants for our lives will lead to a satisfaction and contentment for our souls that cannot be experienced without Him.
