Why does Isaiah pronounce "woe" on Samaria and warn Judah as well? Because the proud, spiritually drunken leaders trusted false refuges instead of God's word, bringing inevitable judgment, yet God preserves a remnant and offers a sure foundation in His promised cornerstone.
