As someone who has been drawn to technology my entire life, I've also been aware of the need for more authentic, real human interaction as technology grows. Doing the uncomfortable work of getting outside your comfort zone and building a connection to a customer through a camera can give you a truly competitive advantage over your competition, which is not willing to do this. Take your smartphone, turn it on Selfy mode, hold it up, and make a video, then learn from that and make another and another. It's not a commercial but education, entertainment, and stories you heard from a customer.

There are so many get-rich-quick scams now, and with retargeting advertising, I think they are getting better at hooking more people in. I have met a large number of people that fell for these programs and none that succeeded. Slow money is where long-term success occurs, and real miracles of quick surges of success, too.

There is a time for planning, a time for thinking, and a time for action. Sometimes people confuse thinking with action. One reason is that it's safer to think about something vs taking small calculated risks where there's a chance of failure. The problem with this is we seldom learn just by thinking without experiencing something in the real world that has the chance of failure.

I recommend working with a professional editor for small businesses in less you enjoyed doing it or you're willing to commit the time to learn a video editor. It is so important to get video content out for small businesses and many small businesses get bogged down in both trying to learn how to edit videos or trying to get it "just right". A solution to not having to learn video editing is simple but often overlooked, just make a recording if it isn't good enough do it again until it's good enough. Also keeping it as short and to the point as possible is very important. If people can hear you clearly and your content is what they want then they don't mind the lack of professional editing.
