Go ahead, all you redeemed ones, do it! It’s time to sing and shout for joy! Good people, cheer God! Right-living people sound best when praising; it is fitting for the pure to praise him so praise Him with all you have.Use guitars to reinforce your Hallelujahs as you as you lift your praises loaded with thanksgiving.! Play his praise on a grand piano! Compose your own new song to him; give him a trumpet fanfare. Sing and make joyous music with all that you’ve got inside.Sing to him a new song; live with excellence, with joy, with the anointing, and with the skills he gives you. Your life is an instrument of praise so sing and shout with passion; make a spectacular sound of joy—If our lives are the instrument then God’s Word is the sheet music. For God’s Word is something to sing about! The words of the Lord, His melody, are true, and all his works, His rhythms, are dependable.The Lord loves what is righteous and just; He loves it when everything fits, when his world is in plumb-line truth. Anywhere and everywhere you can find his faithful, unfailing love! The Earth is drenched in God’s affectionate satisfaction.All he had to do was speak by his Spirit-Wind command and He created the heavenlies. The skies were made by His command; He breathed the word and the stars popped out.He gathers the waters of the sea as in a bottle; He puts the deeps in storage places. Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command.God takes the wind out of pretense, he shoots down the world’s power-schemes. With his breath He scatters the schemes of nations who oppose Him; they will never succeed.His destiny-plan for the earth stands sure. His forever-plan remains in place and will never fail.Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord; happy are the people He has chosen for his own!The Lord looks down from heaven and sees all of us humans.From His dwelling place He looks [intently] upon all the inhabitants of the earth–He has shaped each person in turn; and so He knows everything we do and think.A king does not win because of his powerful army; a soldier does not triumph because of his strength.War horses are useless for victory; So don’t count on them to give you victory—for all its strength, it cannot save you.God’s eye is on those who respect him, the ones who trust in his constant love, those who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and constant love.He looks upon them so that in a moments notice He can deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. He’s ever ready to come to their rescue in bad times; in lean times he keeps their body and soul together.The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in Him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us.In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. And as we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy that flows from Him!Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, oh Lord, for we trust and we wait upon you and you alone!
