Here are the Leader Guides for this first week, along with a few notes to get us started:
Leader Guide: We have prepared some notes that you can use to lead your first meeting next week. We will not be sending discussion questions this Sunday, instead, use these notes to structure your first meeting. The goal of this time should be to: connect (or re-connect) with the people in your group; cast the vision for the quarter by walking your group through the LG Covenant; and pray together.
Covenant Membership & Launch Dinner Recordings: This first week gives us the opportunity to discuss group dynamics and expectations, utilizing the Life Group Covenant. Pastor Manny expands on this opportunity in this Covenant podcast, so please take a moment to listen to it in advance of your first meeting. If you would like additional coaching on implementing the Life Group Covenant, check out Pastor Matt’s LG Covenant episode of the Life Group Leader Podcast.
Communicating with your group: If you haven’t gotten in touch with your group yet, please do that now. Make sure they have any special instructions they may need for logging on or getting to your group. We have prepared a tutorial video for you to learn how to communicate with your group through Planning Center and how to download your group roster.
Group Registration Closes September 28th: Please note that we will be formally closing all groups Sunday September 28th and directing those interested in joining a Life Group to connect with the Life Groups Team directly. We will reach out to you if someone could be a good fit for your group, to see if you could accommodate them.
