Honeyland follows the story of the last female bee-hunter in Europe, who must save the bees and return the natural balance, when a family of nomadic beekeepers invade her land and threaten her livelihood.

  • Zainab: The deep connection to the protagonist because of her compassion for her environment even when others around her seemed to threaten its natural balance. The film presented the notion of the cycle of compassion and how our ability to be compassionate expands the more we express it.
