Inspiration Text: “Proverbs 6:6-11 6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
11 and poverty will come on you like a thief
and scarcity like an armed man.
Today we are going to do something a little different,
We are going to talk about my experience in SRS
Throughout the month I learned a lot of things
And I feel privileged I can share.
and we will discuss:
Where the Idea came from for SRS?
Location, location, location.
What would I practice SR at?
Education & Learning about preparation?
What do I eat?
Timing.
Miscalculations and loss of food.
Canning, and other food storage.
Realizing how much work is needed.
Community.
Harvesting.
Energy, emotions, and physical change.
Cheating & becoming a scavenger.
Self denial and fasting.
Seeing the end.
What happened the day after.
