Most parents want the best for their children and want them to have opportunities in life that require them to learn certain skills, such as acquiring another language. Though I think there's good intent behind this, I don't think forcing a child to learn another language is going to be met with much success. Encouraging your child to become bilingual is a very worthwhile endeavor though, so I want to share some ideas on how to do so.
