Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Richmond, VA, Trey Ferguson currently calls Homestead, FL in Miami-Dade County home. There, he serves as an Elder and the Director of Discipleship at the Refuge Church. His passions include building community, digital engagement, Black church history, and the University of Miami Hurricanes.A graduate of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, Trey’s best feature is actually his wife, Jessica. When he’s not theologizing, he enjoys roasting people on twitter and maybe landing himself in hot water with his church’s elders.
