Today’s homily is inspired by St. Peter’s U.C.C., Skokie, celebrating the baptism of a baby in one of our member families. The Scriptures are Psalm 23 and John 10:1-10, plenty of words about shepherds, sheep, and gates! The Pastor weaves them all together in preaching on baptism, and what it means for our lives and churches in Christian community.
