This is the second of two Stewardship Sundays at St. Peter’s, this one focusing on the community aspect of Christian stewardship. The Scriptures chosen are from Deuteronomy 26; I Corinthians 12, and Luke 9. We know we think of our individual selves as stewards and managers; do we realize that our communities of faith are also stewards? There are community aspects to stewardship, to which our Redheaded Preacher seeks to point and illuminate. It even includes reminders to ask for help, to offer help, and how do that last one gently.
