On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and before the First Sunday of Advent, we give thanks and remember church members, and those affiliated with our membership, who died since last Totenfest (our version of All Saints Day). We also hear Scriptures from Daniel 7, The Revelation Chapter 1, and John 18:33-38 which drive a sermon called “This Week’s Three T Words.” They happen to be Thankfulness, Totenfest, and Truth. Our minister tries to find a connection between these three, in that order!
