Aged 28 and over a period of 21 months Ade was in Indonesia and did not set foot in Britain, a country he had never spent any more than 4 weeks away from up until that point.

Examining this fledgling expatriate through the prism of the western rock and pop music that he listened to during those 21 months - none of which, for Ade, evokes any associations with Britain at all – reveals an original soundtrack of exceptional music and extraordinary recollections.
