On the Jewish festival (The Feast of Pentecost), Jesus sent the promise of the Holy Spirit to those who were gathered together in The Upper Room.

Pentecost is symbolic of the harvest.

In the Old Testament it represented bringing in the harvest of grain.

In the New Testament it represents bringing in the harvest of souls.

The Holy Spirit wants to help us. But not only for ourselves, but for the benefit of others.

To give us the power & boldness to tell people about Jesus.
