Abdulkadir Sheikh Ali Ibrahim Baghdadi is an intellectual who holds a master's degree in Islamic Philosophy. He comes from a leading Sufi family of Somalia. Baghdadi held many political and administrative positions.

• 1. He is also a member of the Somali Federal Parliament since 2009.
