Text: 1 Samuel 5-7:1

The Israelites are mourning because the Ark of the Covenant has been captured and placed in the Temple of Dagon. They were sad because they failed to “protect” God. However, these chapters remind us that we don’t need to worry about protecting God, we just need to worry about obeying him.
