Bronwyn Stephens was the District Governor of Rotary 9800 from 2018-2019. While working as a nurse, she volunteered with two major bodies in healthcare – the Australian Council of Hospital Standards as a surveyor, and the Australian Credentialed Gastroenterology Nurses as an educator, surveyor, and board member. She joined the Rotary Club of Melbourne South in 2008 has served the Club in various capacities including Bulletin Editor, Treasurer and Club President. She has chaired the World of Difference project for her Club, where she led a Vocational Training Tour of four teachers to Cambodia in 2016 and provided workshops to 160 Cambodian teachers. Currently, she is Treasurer for the “Donations in Kind” warehouse and chairs a project providing care packs and clothing to the mental health unit at The Alfred Hospital, all the while continuing to lead humanitarian trips to Cambodia and championing project endeavours.

I first met Bronwyn when I attended Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) in 2018; a week-long youth camp organized by Rotary clubs and districts. We became friends instantly and stayed in touch. I am so excited to have her on as a guest and hear about her experiences.
