Ireland's two finalists in the men's 5000 metres have been enthusing about their European Championships experience in Munich.

Brian Fay of Raheny Shamrock came eighth, while European cross-country silver-medallist Darragh McElhinney of UCD and Glengarriff was 16th.

Speaking to Will Downing, McElhinney says he can only prosper by competing against the biggest names.
