In this busy season, it’s easy to wear ourselves down and wear ourselves out. There’s so much to do, so much to prepare, so much to carry. We need to pace ourselves so that we can maintain our energy, as we celebrate the joys of bringing light into the darkest season of the year.
Taking a time out from the busy world’s endless to-do list might feel a little decadent right now. But wouldn't lying down for a few quiet moments feel so good, so necessary, so right? Wouldn’t you like to turn away from the noise for just a little while so that you can stay close to the quieter whispers within?
Here’s your chance with 22 minutes of quiet relaxation. All you need to do is lie down in the most comfortable corner of the house, exhale, and follow along with the gentle suggestions to soften and settle. Bit by bit and breath by breath, you will be invited to shift from agitation toward ease, creating a deep sense of steadiness and calm.
My hope is that when it’s time to return to the world of action, you’ll feel refreshed, restored, and ready to shine brightly in the season ahead.
