Since her parents immigrated into the US, Anna Batchelder was always curious to learn more about immigration. She got her undergraduate degree in economics, then continued to learn more about immigration economics. Anna wanted to get more hands-on experience of what it feels like to be an immigrant, so she sought out opportunities abroad, leading her to teaching English in Japan.

Although teaching English was not the best fit, Anna knew she was passionate about education. After her and her husband moved to Dubai for a business opportunity, Anna started her own company, Bon Education, to create education programs and opportunities for youth and adults.

Anna discusses working in multicultural settings, developing programs to empower youth and finding balance while growing both her business and family. She shares entrepreneurial tips and podcast recommendations, and she speaks about finding a community with the EO Accelerator program.
