Welcome back to the third episode in our brand-new podcast, Guildcast! Each month we’ll be releasing a podcast on current topics and issues impacting students at Exeter.
In today’s episode, your Full-Time Officers discussed:
-Ruby’s wellbeing campaign Exehale: a new space on campus to support students rest and recharge in-between studying. Find out more here [https://www.exeterguild.org/news/article/6001/Exehale-is-here/]
-Liv discussed how exciting it is to see societies begin to have in person activities considering the latest limiting of coronavirus restrictions.
-Tuition fees are a hot topic; Penny noted how the Guild Council have recently voted in favour for officers to campaign for refunds for students. The Ease the Fees campaign is in full swing and Penny encouraged students to get involved.
-Sunday outlined how free speech has been a contentious issue amongst students and, in light of her recent survey, there seems to be a split in opinion on campus.
