In this episode, we speak to Emma and Erandi, two of the founders of PPLE’s Periodic Initiative! Their projects aim to reduce period poverty, and they advocate for universal access to sanitary products. This was the second time Periodic has been featured on AIM for Change, and in this episode we catch up with the progress of both the Periodic initiative and the broader discourse surrounding menstrual poverty over the last year. Today, Periodic advocated for addressing period poverty in Amsterdam at the municipality building for the council vote! You can find more information about the vote and their other upcoming projects at their website: periodic.nl or on their social media: @periodic.nl . On behalf of PPLE’s AIM Study Association, we hope you enjoy! Music Credit: Synapse by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com
